For more than 14 years, Georgia Bio has presented Georgia’s premier bioscience and medtech conference hosting more than 600 CEOs, senior executives, scientists and public policy officials from across the nation. Georgia Bio is hosting their 2016 Innovation Summit on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at The Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, GA. Here are a couple reasons why the summit holds new meaning for us this year!

Our clients and team being recognized as thought leaders

Our clients Curant Health, T3 Labs, and the Global Center for Medical Innovation (GCMI) will be sharing their insights and expertise on-stage during this year’s summit.

GCMI will be represented by CEO Tiffany Wilson alongside Michael Sweet, Sr. Program Manager of Preclinical Research for T3 Labs, and Lou Malice, CEO of NFANT® Labs LLC. During the session “BioTalk,” the panel will discuss medical devices, their increasing connectivity and how their evolution is changing the way care is delivered worldwide. Our very own W2M Healthcare Practice Lead, PaulSnyder, will be representing the team while he moderates the concurrent session,“Changing the World by Bringing Breakthrough and Connected Devices to Market,” from 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

GCMI and T3 Labs recently joined forces in a continuing effort to streamline the medtech innovation process from concept to cure to commercialization.Additionally, Tif was recently selected to serve a second term on the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Jake Caines, National Sales Director at Curant Health, will be on a panel titled “Shaping the conversation to spotlight the value of health care innovation.”Its focus is specifically on how to define value, the price of innovation, the impact of health policies on behavior, and the relationship between price and cost. Curant Health is a medication management and patient support services company whose commitment to improving outcomes and lives for chronically ill patients has landed it on the Inc 500 list for four consecutive years.

Looking to the future of innovation in Atlanta

The Summit serves as the only life sciences conference in Georgia with an exhibit hall featuring the latest research, technology and services at companies, universities and other organizations. We can’t wait to pick the brains of the hundreds of industry leaders creating the next wave of biotech innovations in Atlanta on September 28.
