A tech entrepreneur with over twenty five years of experience, Jean-Luc started his first software development company Finalist.nl in the Netherlands in 1988, raised venture capital in 2000 and eventually sold it in 2010. Jean-Luc joined Write2market in 2010 intrigued by the combination of PR and content marketing that Write2market was pioneering. He has been instrumental in creating a more metrics driving approach that keeps up with the latest developments in CRM and lead generation.

Paul has fifteen years of experience on the front lines of fresh, effective communication strategies that build businesses. He has 10 years of experiencing leading teams to communication successes in an agency setting. Before joining W2M, Paul was Director of Development for the business school at Mercer University, where he was responsible for fundraising and board development. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in economics. In a previous life, Paul was a golf professional and played as a full-time pro. A creative marketing strategist, Ben brings 13 years of experience to W2M, where he builds awareness for our retail and technology clients. In a previous life, he worked for Lowe and Grey in New York where he led clients such as GMC Truck, Nokia, Canon, Hess and P&G. Before joining W2M, Ben immersed himself into the Atlanta tech startup scene, co-founding Brinktop technology and later contracting for other local startups. Ben is an avid film buff, world traveler and golfer.
Before joining the Write2Market team, Carla launched her PR career at one of the world’s top theater venues in Clearwater, Florida where she worked with artists ranging from Alice Cooper to Colbie Caillat. Carla is passionate about CSR in the workplace - after graduating with a bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Florida, she went on to obtain a master’s in business with a focus on business ethics. While in school, Carla worked at UF’s Office of Sustainability where she implemented multiple marketing and communications campaigns to engage students and the local community.
Marilyn is a veteran PR professional with experience in B2B programs, for startups and mature companies alike. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, AdTech, EdTech, digital media, retail and more.
Among Marilyn’s strong suits is media relations. Through strategic publicity programs, she has helped secure coverage in outlets including Bloomberg, CNBC.com, Financial Times, FastCompany, Forbes, MarketWatch, The New York Times, Reuters, TechCrunch, U.S. News & World Report, VentureBeat, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post, as well as dozens of important industry and vertical trade outlets.
In addition to media placement, Marilyn is a writer/editor, and helps arrange conference participation/speaking engagements and award submissions for clients. Marilyn has a B.S. degree in Journalism, with a minor in Business Marketing, from the University of Maryland.
When she’s not pitching journalists, she likes watching NFL games and other sporting events. She practices yoga avidly and is a wine aficionado – although not at the same time.
Emily joined the write2market team after moving from Jacksonville, Florida, where she was a staff writer for a local culture magazine. She also ran a local craft espresso bar where she worked alongside a contracted agency to create content for in-house marketing campaigns. Needless to say she is a sucker for creative, informational content. Emily received her degree in Philosophy from the University of North Florida and uses it to add an interesting perspective to every project. Her hobbies include cooking, running and riding on the back of motorcycles.

T.J. Lane is an Emmy Award winning journalist with 20 years of experience telling some of the world’s top stories. He joined the Write2Market team from CNN, where his credits include coverage of the Centennial Olympic Park bombing, the events of September 11, Hurricane Katrina, the Indian Ocean tsunami, and the Arab Spring among others. His ability to deconstruct complex business, technological, and medical topics and present them in a succinct way has earned him multiple Peabody, National Headliner, DuPont-Columbia, and Emmy awards. With a wide variety of interests and experiences, T.J. applies an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving and storytelling. He holds a Bachelor of Science in telecommunication from University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University.
