Natania Barron, MA
Sporting a masters in literature alongside years of experience writing web content that clicks, Natania Barron animates every relationship with W2M customers with her passion for the written word. In charge of customer experience at Write2Market, her unique perspective as both writer and a student of other writers helps her extend a balancing hand to W2M clients as they navigate new waters in online communication strategy. Social marketing, online networking, blogging, and other emergent trends in online communication fascinate Natania and she spends late evening hours exploring the depths of the Web. In her spare time, Natania is writing her second novel.
Lisa Calhoun, MBA
Lisa Calhoun founded Write2Market in 2003 and has developed the writing agency into one of the country’s leading content development authorities, with citations in USA Today and regular speaking opportunities. Write2Market’s client roster now ranges from Fortune 100 firms such as ADP, UPS, and URS to interactive marketing powerhouses such as FG2 and Luckyfish. Lisa pursued a degree in professional writing from Baylor University on National Merit Scholarship and graduated summa cum laude in 1994. Her first position was with a small San Antonio ad agency as a copywriter, which led to working with BBDO and Ogilvy Worldwide in Manhattan. Lisa received her MBA from University of Texas with honors in 2003. In her volunteer pursuits, she and many of the Write2Market team contribute their pro bono efforts to environmental writing opportunities. At home, you can find Lisa puttering in her herb garden, hiking the Georgia wilderness, or learning--ever so slowly--guitar.
Casey Fiesler, MS
Equipped with her Masters of Science in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech, Casey is a “reader experience” expert. Some of her personal research interests include artificial intelligence agents and Web-site accessibility issues. Casey is currently pursuing her law degree and works by special arrangement with Write2Market. She is a frequent contributer to our technical writing practice.
Janice Hoover
Janice Hoover is a senior writer and editor at Write2Market. Her work has been relied on regularly by AT&T, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and the American Institute for Paralegal Studies, the oldest online paralegal training school. Janice has worked extensively with West Publishing and Aspen Publishers collaborating with authors to produce finished texts. She graduated with a degree in composition and rhetoric from Georgia State and is always willing to wax eloquent about her dog, her tennis game or her decades of yoga. She is a regular member of our marketing writing and sales writing team.
Kate Hoover
An intense focus on detail, along with versatility gained through a wide variety of experience, distinguishes the writing Kate provides Write2Market. She has created content for mobile messaging and directory service provider Go2Media, performed in myriad capacities at alternative weekly Creative Loafing, and assisted academic endeavors in the legal, cultural and testing fields. Cynthia Parks, Ph.D
A senior writer and editor with W2M, Cynthia has 10 years of online content development experience. She has worked with Motorola, Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Enterprises, State Farm Insurance, Georgia state government, and others. She has written and edited for high profile Web projects for CCE, State Farm, The Lane Company, Avia Enterprises, Nature’s Estates, State Farm, Affinity Healthcare, and many more. Cynthia likes to mentor other writers and to help in the process of taking the written product from concept to polished perfection. Cynthia has a Ph.D. in English from Georgia State University where she taught English, Business English, and Creative Writing for 14 years. She has also taught community-based classes for non-native speakers and has been an adviser and advocate for state and national Plain English legislation. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, chess, tennis, and book collecting.
John C. Snider
With two degrees in engineering and 20 years of experience in technical and creative writing, "Chris" Snider’s writing is informed by his passion as a storyteller. This versatile writer excels at case studies, documentation, and white papers. In his spare time, he crafts short stories and produces screen plays. His fiction has been featured in a new anthology of dark science fiction tales titled Aberrant Dreams I: The Awakening, scheduled for publication by HD-Image.
Miles Thomason
In today’s competitive world, even writers have to get geeky--and when they do, there’s Miles Thomason. Write2Market’s extensive network of writers and editors is supported by custom software that keeps us in step with clients and each other. Many of our web copywriting projects requrie interfacing with our clients’ databases and content management systems (CMS)--or even creating custom CMS. A Georgia Tech graduate with honors in computer science, Miles is chief technologist at Write2Market. His interests include AI and in his spare time, he works on modeling AI systems that emulate successful writing or successful editing automatically. Miles is also the founder and CEO of Levia Software, an Atlanta software development company that specializes in streamlining businesses by automating tedious, costly tasks.In his spare time, find him rebuilding his Karman Ghia or learning violin.
Melissa Thomas-Dubois
Melissa has twenty years of communications experience, primarily in broad healthcare business writing. She’s worked for CompBenefits, Emory University, and several other leading organizations before joining Write2Market as a senior consultant in our marketing writing practice. At Write2Market, her strong organizational skills and business savvy have been the powerhouse behind major marketing campaigns for Infocrossing, Mansfield Oil, and others. In her spare time, she writes children’s fiction.
