Chances are you’re just getting back from a conference — or you’re about to attend one.

The top months for trade conferences are April through June and September through November. Most conferences are planned months and often years ahead, and if you want to be a speaker at one of these events, you’ll have to submit your proposal earlier than you think.

For example – this fall, our client Sequence Health will be speaking at the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) conference in Florida. CEO John Richmond and Aaron Lloyd, Director of the Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery Program at Fresno Heart and Surgical Center will present, based on a proposal that we submitted in January — 8 months before the conference.

For the Healthcare Internet Conference (HCIC) on October 23rd in Austin, TX we submitted winning abstracts for Sequence and another client, Response Mine Interactive. Proposals were due 7 months before the conference in March. Winning proposals are only as good as the deadline, so be sure to do your research and keep track of the submission windows.

Many conferences have gone ‘virtual’ and now exist only online. Target Marketing magazine has chosen client unified.agency to be a keynote speaker during their  “Integrated Marketing Today and Tomorrow” virtual conference. This one day virtual conference features an array of industry experts discussing the latest techniques for reaching new audiences and markets effectively.

Where would you like to speak next year? Did you check the call for speakers? Don’t forget to mark the dates in your calendar, and remember that co-presenting with a client greatly increases your chances of being selected!

Or let us handle it for you — we keep track of the submission schedule, write the abstract, and submit for you so you’ll never miss a deadline again! Call us today to learn more!
